Sound is what gives the characters a story to tell to the audience. althought at the beginning of film they did it with movements and letters on the screen, the success of a film depends on the dialogues, sounds and music that it has. If for example, there were to be an explosion of a building and the sound of that explosion is not believable, then the whole idea of the scene will be eliminated. Or, if you hear the voice of a character and the movement of the lips do not match, then you feel that the whole point of the movie pretending to be real is destroyed. For many other reasons, sound is a very important and yet more difficult to control tool that is in the arsenal of the filmmakers.
Many programs have been created in order to improve or create new sounds that match with the pictures, althought what rules yet is the imagination of the creators of different sounds in order to create new and special ones.
For me sound is one of the most escenciall part in a movie. Because a sound can represent all in it. Althought in old movies they don´t use dialogues for me the sound and dialogues are crucial. The public can actually understand the point of view of what the director wants to transmit
ResponderEliminarOh, it looks like this is the most difficult part of making the movie because you need a lot of time and patience for mixing all the sounds and the videos together.
